With the miniaturization of electronic machines, high capacitance and high density packaging, the temperature around the capacitor becomes higher. And more continuous operation, all require high reliability, long life.The life of aluminum electrolytic capacitor decreases with the increase of ambient temperature. Please consider the following contents in installation and configuration of aluminum electrolytic capacitor:
1. Please avoid placing heating elements around the capacitor and inside the PCB (below the capacitor).
2. Use radiator, etc. to release heat from the inside of the electronic machine.
3. A proper hole is made in the shell to cool the capacitor by the air entering the hole while reducing the temperature inside the electronic machine.
4. In particular, electronic machines with two circuit boards, installed near power modules and heating elements, are exposed to high heat from the pads of circuit boards. Please pay attention to the power consumption.
5. Inside the electronic machine, the upper part becomes hot. When the machine is in use, the installation position of the capacitor should be placed at the bottom as far as possible. Especially when using electronic machines vertically, please pay attention.
